Shree Vitraag Jain Community Centre

Latest progress

Previous Next

In April 2025, I announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will contribute $2 million towards the delivery of the Shree Vitraag Jain Community Centre in Girraween and I'm so proud to support this one.The Jain community in Sydney is growing, and they deserve a place to truly call their own.

This centre will be a cultural and spiritual home for festivals, celebrations, lectures, and events, complete with a library, a stage with audio visual equipment, and a commercial kitchen. It will serve the Jain community and open its doors to the wider Parramatta community too.

Parramatta's strength has always been its diversity, and this centre is another beautiful addition to the multicultural fabric that makes our community so special.

APRIL 2026

The $2 million for the Shree Vitraag Jain Community Centre is on its way.

Once the funding comes through, this centre will be one step closer to becoming a reality for the Jain community and all of Parramatta. Can't wait to see it happen.
