Parramatta Islamic Cultural Association

Latest progress

Previous Next

In April 2025, I announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $400,000 to help establish a new Parramatta Islamic Cultural Association Service Centre and I'm thrilled to back this for our community.

This funding will support the renovation of a community space right in the heart of Parramatta, creating a much needed hub for youth, women, and seniors in the local Islamic community.

From youth mentoring to women's programs and community wellbeing, this centre will deliver real, practical support for the people who need it most. Parramatta is one of the most diverse communities in Australia, and investments like this are how we make sure everyone feels seen, supported, and at home.

APRIL 2026

Great news for the Parramatta Islamic Cultural Association. The $400,000 is on its way, and once it lands, the renovation of the new service centre can get underway.

Exciting times ahead for the community. Can't wait to see this come to life.
